Meet Ash.

Ashley is an award winning Associate Teaching Professor of Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder.

As a journalist, Ashley’s work has been published by a variety of media outlets including Time, Huffington Post and Triathlete. She has also worked as a local news reporter for The Denver Post and The Colorado Sun. Her professional interests include sports, lifestyle & culture, and LGBTQ+.

Ashley’s research has appeared in multiple peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Communication, New Media & Society, and Howard Journal of Communication.

Ashley has lived abroad in Pamplona, Spain, enjoys training for middle-distance triathlons, and spending time in Colorado’s oxygen-deprived (yet beautiful) Front Range with her camera and pups. Some of her favorite subjects to capture as a photographer are nature, sports, and travel.
